King's Wrath

Rate this book
Finally meet the enigma that is King.

Our love wasn’t like everyone else’s.
There wasn’t a first date or flowers and gifts.
We didn’t have a song or cute nicknames for each other.
There were no calls during the day to check in with me, no coming home to cook me dinner, and no foot massages at the end of a long day.
That wasn’t how he loved.
But love me he did.
Madly, deeply, passionately, completely.
King loved with everything he had.
He just loved a little differently to most.

This is King's story. From the beginning. All the ugly and all the beautiful, by the end of this duet you will come to understand the man behind the club.

King's story will be told over two books – King's Wrath & King's Reign..

King's Wrath will be out on the 30th April
King's Reign will be out on the 31st May

Holy Shit Mother Fucker!!! My mouth is still hanging over!
If there was any doubt at all that Nina Levine would not come through with a monstrous hit, well fuck that!! She Killed it!
King's Wrath is an unapologetic, mindfuck of all things sheer awesomeness! Storming into your senses like a drug, caging your in with its mind-altering plots, then sweep you off your pretty little feet with one hell of a burning desire. Making me a quivering hot mess.
Just blew my mind right out of the water! SHIT!!! HOLD UP!!! Make sure you have alcohol around since your going to be hit with one mindnumbing cliffhanger!!! FUCK!!!!!

"Love and hate and hurt all piled up on top of each other."

Saying that I've been dying to get my hands on King's Wrath is an understatement, and now that I have, I'm dying to get my hands on King's Reign even more. I knew going in that it was a two-part story and that I wouldn't get all my answers until the end. But he's like a bet to a gambler... irresistible.

I wish I could tell you about #KingsQueen but it's not in the cards. You'll have to wait until the author has played her hand. She's a sneaky dealer who's keeping an ace in the hole. I suggest you go into the story with the intention of getting to know King. His painful past is a story that will break your heart and open your mind to his way of thinking. Even if you might not agree with some of his decisions, you'll understand where they come from. Some things can't be unseen, forgotten or forgiven. While I agree that, "if you're the kind of man who can admit his mistakes, you're the kind of man who can be forgiven", that doesn't mean that he's willing to forgive himself.

I can tell you that the darkness in King is intense and that he doesn't feel like he deserves any light. I want that for him though, a queen who brightens his life. The wrath of King is something to behold, but it's the love of King that I'm holding out for. The line forms here...

I feel like I just took a shot of adrenaline!  My heart is beating out of my chest!

King's Wrath is  RAW GRITTY AND INTENSE!

Zachary "King" is the President of the Sydney Storm MC and  King may be troubled and violent but he is devoted when it comes to his club, his family, and his loves.

He is not a romantic man and I can't see him being tamed but he is passionate and loves hard.  The sensations this man brings out is HOT!

There is a lot of tension and darkness surrounding the MC and a definite sh*+ storm happening. With all the incidents going on it made me so anxious reading this story that I just wanted to reach in grab KING and soothe him.

King is definitely Nina Levine's most complex character and the way she bring's him to life is so honest and real.  You can feel the heart she put into King's story through her detailed written words.

King's Wrath is not a light read and the way it affected me I know that I'll have a definite book hangover for weeks. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!

Holy Sh*t!!!!!! I am speechless!! This book is more than I ever hoped for. I knew King's story would be incredible, but I was not ready for the EPIC story I just read. I did plenty of cussing and screaming in my head (because I didn't want my kids to think I had gone crazy). I already have a few new names on my "love to hate" list. Not naming any names though because that would spoil the fun. King is phenomenal. He has so many layers and I loved seeing each new one as it is revealed. Again no names, because spoilers, but his woman is the sh*t!! I am pretty sure she just took the top spot as my favorite Storm woman!! This story is full of grit and drama, just the way I like it. You will feel the whole range of "feels" as you devour every word! Can't wait for book 2!!!!

Well, Nina has done it! She’s wrecked me. I’ve know that King's book would be worth the wait. And I was dead on with that assumption. There were so many times I wanted to scream and times where I feared the worst. Nina left me on cliff and boy, did she make that one take my breath.

King is so freakin' complex. He’s up and down and everywhere in between. He’s the type of man that is all in or not at all. He’s either loyal to a fault or he’s got no time for you. Completely black or white, no grey area. I fell for his broken damaged soul immediately!

Trying not to give anything away here...King gets a blast from the past on his step and it throws him for a loop. Does he let this person in or not? Will this person hurt him again? So many questions! I still have so many questions going through my head that it’s making me crazy. This will definitely be a book I won’t be forgetting anytime soon!

Nina nailed this story! And there’s even more to come and I’m so damn excited. These storm men will work their way into your hearts and never let you go! Way to go Nina! This story is perfection!!

KING'S WRATH - definitely Nina Levine at her brilliant best

Nina Levine has kept me waiting patiently (NOT!!!) for a year for her next instalment in her SYDNEY STORM MC SERIES. I can tell you now that the wait was most definitely worth it. KING'S WRATH, I believe, is the best book that Ms Levine has written. It is dark, gritty, violent, emotional and extremely intense.

"King" is president of Sydney Storm MC and he is, by no means, the easiest person to get along with. This man is violent, he is scarred by a past he would rather leave behind and he is also passionate (not romantically though) when he loves someone or something. He is a man who gives it all - he knows no boundaries.

I am so pleased that Nina took her time in getting King's story right. He is such a foreboding man, that to rush it would have been an injustice to his character. He is larger than life, has an extremely intricate history - that Nina slowly reveals piece by piece. He is the most complex of all of her characters and that is what makes him more intriguing. You WANT to learn more about him, you WANT to delve into his psyche to find out what makes him tick.

Nina has beautifully given us two sides of this enigmatic man. The MC side, full of violence and destruction and the "human" side of the man who loves his woman both deeply and passionately. This is a man who loves hard. A man who faces conflict within himself daily and deals with it in the only way he knows how - head on - irrespective of what it may be doing to him both physically and emotionally. He is his own worse enemy.

Nina Levine has written a psychological mind blower that has left me with one HUGE book hangover. How on earth do you come down from that? Thank goodness it's only a month before Part Two of King's story, KING"S REIGN is released.

This is definitely Nina Levine at her utmost best. KING'S WRATH is definitely at the top of my list for books read in 2018 (and it's only April).

Highly Highly Recommended Reading

COMPLETE MC SERIES AVAILABLE NOW!!!

BEFORE YOU RUN TO CLICK YOUR COPY...

I need you to know this is a hard story. I didn’t really talk about this aspect of it much before release because I guess I just thought you all knew King was fucked up, but I’ve seen comments and reviews about this so I want to talk about it now.

This book is dark. It’s gritty as fuck. It’s confronting. And it’s unapologetic in that because King himself is unapologetic in the way he lives his life.

You will hate some stuff. You will want to throw your Kindle. You will scream at him and some of the other characters. I hope, though, that through all this, you’ll come out the other side rooting for him.

There are no rainbows and hearts in this story. This is biker to the core. But there is deep love and a fuckload of emotions in this book. Like the blurb says - all the ugly and all the beautiful. If you’re not into dark, gritty and violent, this may not be the book for you.

Oh my god this book gave me so many emotions....
I know from previous books that King had one hell of a story to tell but ooh god my heart just reached out to him *don't tell him I said that*.

King is the President of Storm. He has had one crapfest of a ride his entire life. Two females of which both had him twisted, and both he lost.
Ivy his love since a young age, toxic, dark.
Jen he never loved her enough and she is now gone....

Emotion overload is what this story is... Revenge, Loss, Loyalty, Betrayal, Denial, and OMG the hotness.... FanFreakingTastic book !!!!!!

King’s Wrath was the fifth book in Nina Levine’s Sydney Storm series and the first of a two part series dedicated to King, the Sydney Storm President. I loved this series and couldn’t wait to finally get King’s story.

It picked up exactly where book four, Hyde’s Absolution, left off. It had been awhile (9 months and 300 books ago) since I read the last release and there were so many characters and moving parts that I stayed confused most of the time but I kept reading knowing at some point it would start to gel. I’m hopeful that King’s Reign will bring it full circle so it can all make sense.

In order to help us understand King, Levine took us back to the beginning. He had a horrific childhood with an evil, sadistic and inhumane father. He endured and was forced to participate in things that no one could fully get over, especially a young impressionable child. It shaped his future. Levine then took us to the present and the events that were causing the turmoil within the club. The MC storyline that had been consistently building within the series was now coming to a head and as the storyline began to unfold, the MC and all it entailed was in great danger.

I had mixed feelings about King the hero. At times I loved him - the loyalty and love he had for his family and friends was honorable. And I even loved the alpha protectiveness and his strong leadership skills. But then at other times he was appalling - controlling, rude and disrespectful to the women he supposedly cared about.

Additionally, without any spoilers, there was somewhat of a triangle. But not in the typical sense of the concept. It brought another level of complexity to the storyline. At times I would have preferred it to have gone in a different direction; however, with who King was at his core, I’m not sure it could have - or should have - gone any differently. And with the current direction, Levine kept it unpredictable; which was a plus with a theme that can be common in today’s books.

As King’s Wrath was a two part series, the book ended as if in the middle of the book and waiting for the next chapter. Nothing was resolved and the storyline was continuing to build. Since the story is unfinished, my rating feels early; however, King’s Wrath was well written, well developed (albeit confusing), complex, full of depth and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough; thus my current rating. King’s Reign will pick up from here and take us to the end.

Nope just nope.

It is still too fresh to write much BUT really he runs from his first love and than he runs again? I thought one of his trait was that he always takes what he wants - doesn't look like it.

“And so my addiction only grew. My drug of choice came back to me. The problem with addictions is that in the end they always get you. They shred you, rip your life apart, eat you the fuck up and spit you back out. They consume you, and before you realise what’s happening, you hit rock bottom, and you’re left with nothing. You’re out in the cold without any hope of ever getting another hit.”

King is a beautifully dark enigma that holds the weight of his world, proudly and with determination regardless of the sacrifices he has to make, on his shoulders. How he became the man he is today is slowly revealed, from his horrific childhood to him being saved by his first real family through to joining the MC. He has been honed in the fires of hell to be ruthless and decisive but the darkness within him is in his blood. Needing to feed his demons he struggles to resist the seductive voices demanding blood and pain to right all the wrongs. Balancing his dark desires with his love for his Ivy proves to be something even King cannot maintain forever can he beat his addiction to her? Love can be a cure or love can be toxic and King seems to attract the crazy type of love that becomes all consuming and dangerous, never learning from his mistakes King is too set on his path to deviate. Can his club find out who is against them and win the war as with each battle they take a hit, with more and more of the cleverly strategic plays being revealed. The take down of King and his club is thoroughly planned and far reaching. Who is loyal to him and who will betray him? Can’t wait for the epic conclusion to this story.

So much is going on in this marvellous story that I really don’t know where to begin. King is a multi faceted character that is divinely complex and a perfect example of nature versus nurture. He lives constantly trying to fight who he thinks he will become as he craves the violence, blood and pain but his foster mum and family have also shown him how to love fiercely and protect those he cares about. Everything he does he does for them regardless of the emotional cost to himself. He is selfless but cannot see his own merits. His own worst critic he makes mistakes as he is too blind to see how his behaviour hurts the ones he’s trying to protect from himself. Ivy... I have got to say I felt for her but I didn’t like her. She’s stubborn and bitter, having her own demons she’s too caught up in her own pain to recognise the monster she’s baiting and yet he valiantly battles on as he loves her endlessly. Their self perpetuating cycle of destruction is never ending and I wanted to slap them both! Love is blind and can a force of destruction. The dynamic between King and his family brings light and warm to the story and the man. He is capable of so much love and I hope he gets to embrace this side of him in his conclusion. I want his happily ever after but I feel he has more devastation to survive first but my fingers are crossed he finds his light in the darkness.

Once again Nina Levine has blown my expectations out of the water and left me reeling. This book has been worth the wait. Her writing style is flawless with her character development well paced and considered from all angles I feel like a fly on wall as the scenes play out. The connection between the reader and characters is palatable and you yearn for them, hope for them and can’t help but pray that things will all work out. That right there is a sign of an amazingly talented author as the reader becomes enveloped within the story. I couldn’t put it down. Her words wrapped me up and took me away to a MC that I wish I was part of!

A five star epically brilliant King read.

Nina Levine delivers the first part of King’s long-awaited story with this intense new addition to the Sydney Storm MC series. King’s Wrath is nothing I ever could have anticipated and yet everything I had hoped for. The journey Nina Levine begins in this novel is gripping and raw, perfectly capturing the ferocious enigma that is the Sydney Storm MC president. A twisted story that is only just getting started, prepare yourself for a few surprises as this book takes readers back to the beginning with King. The perfect mix of dark deeds, unexpected feeling, and electrifying chemistry, this novel dives deeper than ever before and promises to leave readers utterly addicted and begging for more.

King’s Wrath chronicles King’s path to Storm and his climb to club president, before picking up where the events of Hyde’s Absolution left off. King’s history was gritty, dark, and revealing, laying the groundwork for the MC man that inspires both fear and inexplicable intrigue. Nina Levine thoroughly surprised me as she unraveled King over the course of this story, demonstrating the breadth of his emotional turmoil and the depth of his personal pain. There was also a surprisingly compassionate and careful side to this mysterious biker that had only ever been hinted at before. It was this beautiful dichotomy that had me falling hard and fast for King.

While King’s Wrath is not a love triangle, two women consume King in this book: Ivy, his first love and biggest regret, and Lily, a new face with a fierce heart. While fundamentally different, both women are stubborn, outspoken, and push King in ways he’s powerless to deny. Nina Levine did a fantastic job developing both of these characters to be clear individuals with distinct voices and I’m curious to see where she plans on taking Ivy and Lily as the storyline progresses. Together with King’s siblings who exposed his tender, more thoughtful side, they helped reveal the man I always knew was buried beneath the ink and anger.

Storm MC is definitely back and ready for war in King’s Wrath. Readers will not be disappointed with glimpses of series favorites throughout the book. Nina Levine manages to make diving back into her MC world feel effortless and I was instantly right at home again with Storm. Paced to be devoured, this book had me riveted. Nina Levine’s writing absolutely enraptured, dripping with vibrant imagery and the kind of raw emotion that evokes a visceral response in the reader. I felt this one all the way through and I can’t wait to get my hands on what is sure to be the heart-pounding conclusion to this story. King’s journey was every bit as captivating, infuriating, and full of surprises as the man himself and its only just beginning.

I am so in love with King. Picture a love sick cartoon character with hearts for eyeballs and that’s pretty much what I looked like reading Kings book. Like many of us I’ve been waiting very impatiently for Kings story and I can honestly say the wait was well worth it. I’m not going into the story at all because there’s so much going on that I wouldn’t even know where to start. This book is packed full of tension and threats. With the MC in danger, Kings got so many balls up in the air even I’m starting to wonder if he’s ever going to be able to make his club safe. Not only is he dealing with the threat to his club but he’s also got his family to keep safe and when a face from his past turns up, it brings even more danger to the club. I adore King. I don’t have the words to express how much. He’s the strong, protective alpha that will trample anyone that dares stand in his way or who threatens his family but we see another softer side to King in this book. Finally finding out about his past I couldn’t help but feel for young King and the man he is today.

I struggled to put this book down. I slowed down the closer I got to the end solely because I wasn’t ready for it to finish. Oh and that ending!!! It’s left me desperate for more. If you’ve read the other books in this series then you need to read Kings story. This is without a doubt my favourite Nina Levine book and my favourite biker of hers. I can’t wait for more from King.

I knew King's story was going to be good, he was quite the enigma. But his story well and truly blew me away!! There is so much to King's story i can understand why it had to be split into, two books. Am i bothered by that HELL NO! more King for us to enjoy!!!

So i'm keeping my review spoiler-ish free because this book has a depth that you just need to read, absorb. Take your time and enjoy because..... King is one intense, broody and hot as hell guy!!

King has a darkness, due to his past and with his needs now he doesn't feel worthy of love. And the light love would bring to his world but this man deserves this and more.

His darkness makes him controlling, possessive but it also makes him protective of the ones he holds close. He sometimes has a very demanding way of showing his protectiveness. But it's always to put them first to keep them safe, the only way he knows best.

King's Wrath is definitely an emotional overload read. Of heartbreak, loyalty, betrayal, loss, revenge and love in Kings own way. I'm not going to mention the females that are in King's life, because for me it was nothing like i was expecting the story to go. And that makes for a fantastic read! bring on King's Reign!!!

So sit back and enjoy King's Wrath, you will not be disappointed.

I patiently waited for Kings Wrath, and was it worth it...you bet it was...WOW! I’m now dying to get my hands on King’s Reign, I can’t wait.
I knew the story would be played out in two parts, and I’d possibly be left with a cliffhanger and questions that I desperately need answering. And the story has a lot to be told yet and I’m ready to listen.
I can’t say too much about King, but I will say he’s a ruthless, complicated character who’s painful past has shaped him to be the man he is to day, the story reveals his past and it is a hard tale. It is hard to like King at first, but when you understand him, it is inevitable. And women...he’s tough, he’s hard...who’s strong enough to become his Queen? The twists and turns had me hooked, it’s an intense read and I loved how King’s character developed and grew through out the book. A fantastic story, thank you Nina Levine.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

King's Wrath is the fifth book in the Sydney Storm MC Series from Nina Levine. This is also a duet with the second book coming soon and you do not have to have read the other books in this series to read King's Wrath.

Our love wasn't like everyone else's. There wasn't a first date or flowers and gifts. We didn't have a song or cute nicknames for each other. There were no calls during the day to check in with me, no coming home to cook me dinner, and no foot massages at the end of a long day. That wasn't how he loved. But love me he did. Madly, deeply, passionately, completely. Kind loved with everything he had. He just loved a little differently to most.

King is the President of the Sydney Storm MC. He also had this horrible mother and father. Sheesh I have seen some bad parents in books but his probably take the cake. So to say this messed up King to a certain degree is a understatement. King also knew he was a violent man but once it is unleashed he has found something that finally makes him feel relief to a certain extent. However he does know how to love he just goes about it in possessive I am going to do everything in my power to keep you safe weather you like my methods or not kind of way. He is devoted to those he loves and to his club and you should never question any of that. I just want to say that your not going to see a sweet good man who your going to fall in love with but you do see a man doing the best he can with his MC being threatened to be wiped off the face of the earth. A family and club members he is determined to keep save and then there is Ivy. You can find out about her by yourself as I don't want to give everything away. I will say that while he isn't a character your going to immediately fall for he is one that you want to offer all the comfort to in the world that you can and good gosh I swear I could feel the mans stress bleeding off the pages. I can not wait to get King's Rein in my hands to find out how everything comes out for King in the end.

Well the wait is over. King's story is here and it is without a doubt, Nina Levine's best work yet! She did not disappoint with this story of a man who defied his horrific start in life and became his Club's revered President. As we get all of Zachary King's past, from his time with his demented father to the present, it becomes very clear why he is both the feared and respected man he is today. Nothing is glossed over and every raw and gritty detail is described perfectly, as each turn of the page had me begging for more.

I couldn't get enough of this man. Nor could the women who wound up in his path, whether on purpose or by a wild twist of fate. I loved that the author finally revealed the long-held answers with respect to King's beloved Ivy, last scene in Hyde's Absolution, with one whopping surprise for her former lover. We get ALL the painful details of their former life together as we step back in time and see both King and Ivy's lives unravel. Despite what transpired between them in the past, I'm still left wondering if they might still have a future together.

The author is very clever in giving this love-starved man a new interest. A woman who is one of those who find our King quite unintentionally and yet a connection is felt almost immediately. Each just wanting what the physical can deliver, ends are left unsure and I do wonder what might transpire next.

I think overall, I'm incredibly in awe of King. It's no wonder he suffers from tension headaches and can't sleep. He literally has the world on his shoulders, putting out fires non-stop in order to keep his club intact and his brothers and their families safe. It was hard to keep up with him, the authors rapid-fire confrontations making me feel like one of his men, chasing him down just to see what was happening next. But Nina Levine writes it all beautifully and every scene is meticulously crafted.

With an inordinate amount of information to be absorbed in this first book of King's duet, I am more than anxious to see what will occur in King's Reign. Zachary King is a man, forever tormenting himself with both his birth family's actions and his decisions regarding matters of his heart. But he is worthy of love and of acceptance. He is loyal to a fault and takes care of his own. He needs someone who will take on his kind of controlled anguish and replace it with a tenderness he so sorely needs.

King's Wrath is one extraordinary ride. It's so much more than just the usual MC book. It's the very heart and soul of a man we were desperate to know more about. And now that we have, we'll be forever grateful.

I highly recommend King's Wrath and give it a HUGE 5+ stars!!

Wow! King has my heart reeling with love for this big bear of a protector, in this wonderful story. He gives me just what I need in a bad biker dude. I was on the edge of my seat and hanging on for the ride the whole way through this book.

I really got to understand King and his story in this book, it broke my heart and gave me an understanding of all of his actions and reactions. King is just a carer, he might not seem like it with his behaviour and grouchy, bossy demeanour, but he certainly is passionate about those he loves; family, club and any women lucky enough to be in his heart.

Unluckily for everyone, this love seems to be doomed by the problems the MC are having. These problems are never ending and gave me a headache trying to sort out who could be trusted and how on earth the multiple problems could be solved.

King has had a couple of destructive relationships over the years and you feel such pain in the way they work out. He certainly doesn't want to give his heart away again... but Lilly is just perfect in a completely opposite way for King. I loved Lilly and her sister, Brynn and her totally inappropriate Mum. Their relationship is so funny and close. These two are teetering on something good for both of them but the club and its problems, once again, get in the way.

Things are left up in the air with King and his 'kind of' relationship with the lovely Lilly at the end of this book. However, the completion of King's story is less than a month away and will be well worth the wait!

King’s Wrath by Nia Levine
Wow I thought I was hooked just from the blurb but I was totally wrong. Once you read this book you are hooked for life with this author and want all her books not just this one. I could not put this book down; it grabs your attention from the first page. What a fantastic story by an amazing and brilliant author. Thank you Nina Levine for giving us a peek inside King’s world & what makes him the way he is. I won’t write what the storyline is because I hate spoilers, but what I will say is that if you are a fan of Nina’s work & want to find out more about what makes King – King then get the book, you won’t be disappointed. Really loved this book and would totally recommend this book to everyone so get your copy now you won’t be disappointed at all! Loved reading King’s Wrath & look forward to what Nina will give us in the next book “King’s Reign”. "I received an advanced copy of this manuscript and am voluntarily leaving an honest review."

This is why I am addicted to Nina's books. I have been a fan since the original storm series and I swear Nina has somehow managed to kick ass with each and every book. Her talent grows and grows and leaves me like an addict needing their next hit. These books are addicting!

This book has me questioning who I thought would be behind things, how things would play out and if I agreed with how it was playing out. I was almost screaming at one point because it wasn't playing out like I thought it should buy Nina's genius knew best and won me over.

I highly recommend this book a an especially this series. I need the next book desperately!

Wow! I devoured this book in a day, I just couldn’t get enough of it! To find out the ins & outs of how King works was fascinating. From how his childhood was to how he came to be, it’s such a ride of emotions. There are so many layers to him, you can’t help but be drawn to him. Even his dark side (and oh boy does he have one!). Nina Levine did an amazing job with this book! If you don’t have all the feels for King, I truly don’t understand then. Big things are going on, and holy heck I can’t wait to find out how it ends! I need more King!!!

Edgy, rough and exciting! This is King’s story and what a story it is.
The best way to describe King he’s “a riddle wrapped up in an enigma.”
His painful past defines the intricate puzzle of who he has become.
But someone is willing to solve the puzzle that is him.
This MC series is unique, explosive and passionate.
The story flowed easily and was totally unputdownable!
I can’t wait to see what direction this story takes.

King knows how to take the bull by the horns, the man makes things happen, “I needed to know where you lived and he could help me with that. That’s all. Now, do you wanna put some clothes on for this conversation?” Holding my towel in place, I stared at him, almost at a loss for words..." King's woman does things to him, I'm not sure how he takes it attimes, “Use it whenever you’ve got your cranky pants on too. It might work wonders.” That smart mouth of hers was a shot straight to my ***k..." I'm dying for the next book, I need to know what happens next.

Moments and characters that will rip your heart out, make you question everything and leave you wanting even more. I have loved King for quite a while now in the Storm and Sydney Storm world that NL has created....this story lived up to and surpassed all of my expectations for the crazy that created King and that he embodies in all actions.

I had, as do many of NL readers, tons of thoughts and questions about who King’s lady would be...and this story kept me wondering for a good portion of it as well...which was brilliant because my emotions kept sliding from no, to could it be, to it better not be! Haha. What also was neat about this story is that King showed more of himself to us. We learned more about his background, his family, his thoughts and opinions on many topics. Another question from t his series, and especially Hyde’s story was what was taking place with the club? King’s story provides more details about the club drama, but was not quite fully answered...and now I have more questions and ideas of what is coming our way in King’s second story due out in May. I thought the introduction and investigation of all the new details (and new characters...hello Axe) was well played and kept me guessing on the details and who was at fault the entire time! Not only were more characters introduced, but other characters showed more of themselves or re-appeared for a bit. Tatum is one of my favorite females in this world and I loved her role in this story🙌🏻 FIERCE! Kree is fascinating to me and I hope we see even more of her in the future. Bronze..oh bronze.

NL is a genius. I love her use of words and details to build a whole world, create emotions and characters that grab my heart and keep me invested not only while I read, but even when I am done. This story focused on King and I loved how the sense of family for siblings, spouse, significant other, parents, and club were interwoven through it all as well. I love this series and King is now not tied for my number one favorite Storm man, but he is my favorite Storm man....crazy, drama, loyal, fierce and all😽

I recieved an advanced reading copy in exchange for an honest review of King's Wrath.
This is the 5th book in the Sydney Storm Series and one that I've been patiently yet excitedly waiting for. Watching King's life unfold through his eyes was heartbreaking, so much suffering at every stage of his life. Nina's writing, as usual, pulls you into not only the story but the characters minds, and what a mind King's is...
While reading the previous books in the series, you get glimpses of King that make you question just how stable he is, how good or bad he truly is. Now, with this first book into the life of King, we start to see the many complex layers that make up the man not many around him truly know. He's feircly loyal to those in his inner circle. He loves with every fibre of his being while seemingly not allowing himself to feel it. As children we're taught so many thjjngs that we don't even realise. We’re taught to give and receive love, how to achieve a goal, how to accept failure, how to treat with tenderness and how to handle our anger, King got none of this and has very much shaped who he is today.
At first, I didn't think it was possible to wrap him up such a complex person in one word, but I've found one that suits him to a T! He's a rollercoaster! He's full of twists and turns at break-neck speed. He'll make you sweat and have your heart pound in fear and excitement. He demands all of your attention while he makes you scream. There may be a bruise or two by the end, so you better hang on tight, because you're in for a bumpy ride.
Everything about King is amplified, notched up to 200% and I have loved every second I've spent getting to know this character. I can't wait to read the conclusion of King's story next month.
Nina's entire MC series, starting with book #1, Storm, has been brilliant from the vey first chapter. I can't recommend this series enough.

I love all of the Storm books but this one gripped me more than any of the others. To finally get to see why King is the way he is. I loved finding out more about him, the way he is with his family, how he loves. I want to know more and cannot wait for King’s Reign.
I don’t normally write reviews - I’ll give a rating, but I had to this time. Nina’s writing is amazing, everyone of her books have sucked me in and left me wanting more. When people have asked in group chats who our favourite Storm guy is, I never had one that stood out as I think they are all great - but that has changed now, King is it for me and I can’t wait to find out more about him.
