Paradise #3

The Road To Paradise

Rate this book
Happily ever after starts easy enough. It’s what comes next that’s the bitch.

Just because I’m film star Jack Alden doesn’t mean I have all the answers. It’s pretty obvious that’s actually a negative.

Marriage was never in my sights. Then I met my Nicki and learned the meaning of soulmate. Loving her has been the most meaningful thing in my life.

Now we’re about to become parents. But I’m hiding a secret. A big one that could steal my heaven.

I have to tell her.

This is where the fairytale gets real…
It takes more than great sex and good intentions to navigate the Road To Paradise.

What a great way to end the series! I have enjoyed every couple so far, but I think that Jack and Nikki are my favorite. Yes, there is drama and Jack and Nikki's relationship is put to the test, but that only made things more compelling. This story is raw and beautiful and will leave you a bit of an emotional mess at times, but that's what makes it so relatable. Aren't we all just looking for our own road to paradise (happiness)?

One of my favorite things about The Road to Paradise was catching up with the characters from the previous books, like Bliss, Steven, and Finn. It was so fun to see how they were all doing and how their lives were progressing. Although this can be read as a stand alone, it would be best enjoyed after reading the previous 2 books in the series so that you are more familiar with the characters. A wonderful book to close the series!!

Movie stars are people too! Jack and Nicki we met them in the beginning of the series but now it's their turn . We see them,as real people behind the lights the glamour what's real and I Fell in love and at times hate with Jack! Nicki is so beautiful and strong these two are madly in love .Shit gets real! Plot twist and a what the hell! But That's not all! We get to spend more time with everyone we get to see what our favorites from the previous 2 books are up to! Yes all of them! This was everything tied up with a not so shiny bow. I love these guys so much I can't even pick a favorite . You have to read it.

LOvED the ending to this series!!! It was so AWESOME to catch up with all of the main characters from the first two books and see how their lives are progressing! I have to say that with this one, Jack may have become my favorite male character of Leslie's!...although I do LOVE Finn and his Jacob's ladder too! Well done Leslie!! I'm so proud of you!!!

Jack and Nikki have had this whirlwind love and marriage. Everything is perfect in paradise until they find out they are having a baby. Will Jack's secret destroy their happily ever after?

This series has been fun, sexy and sweet. I love Jack and Nikki! Really enjoyed that all the characters were through out the series. The author gave us a crazy twist with Jack's past but it explained some of his story a bit better.

I loved the ending to the series. I though eve could have made this super sad but she didn’t! I’m glad she didn’t. I cried along with each character, laughed out loud, and gasped and even said what the heck is going on when the twists and turns happened. I l bed it!!!! I loved the epilogue. The funniest part in any book was when Paul and Jack were carrying John down the beach. I died!

I want in this group!

This story is filled with the most amazing group of friends. Their individual stories take you in making you feel like you’re there with them. The love for each other, the drama, steamy scenes, action and suspense...it’s all in here. Each character tells parts of the story and I love that. I don’t want it to end!!

This book has been in my TBR for awhile now. I'm glad I got around to reading it. The characters were a lot of fun and their interactions were terrific. I'm usually not into Hollywood star characters, but I did enjoy these. I do wish I had read the previous books in the series first, because I was definitely missing out on some info.

That’s a wrap

I would give the final book a 3.5. Personally it seemed to take forever to get into this story compared to the other 2 books. I did enjoy that the authors seemed to wrap up all the characters. However this was the downside as well. It seemed like there was a lot going all at once. I had to go back to chapter starts a few times to remember who’s POV we were in.

The Road to Paradise was a nice ending to this series! I really enjoyed getting to see all the couples again and how close the relationships between all of them were. Some of the storylines weren't my favorite, but the overall feel and flow of the story was wonderful.

I love this story and how it was so well rounded between all the characters from the previous two stories. We have seen the couples come together and forge the friendships and bonds they have. This really is Jack and Nikki's time to shine and see what life holds for them. Strength is tested in and out of their relationship, but with the help of their friends Bliss and Steven, BB and Paul, Esme and Finn; life becomes easier to stay on track.
I love how these books take you into the inside works and world of Hollywood that you would never think of!
These stories are powerful, emotional and raw. This one was no exception to that.
Reading the other books prior to this is a must to really know these couples and their journeys. Each has a beautifully written story and hiccups in their road to paradise.
This road while paved in glitz and glamor can be bumpy, full or terrain and downright terrifying to navigate.
I have shed tears for these characters and have felt so much part of their stories like I am living it all with them!

Leslie Pike finished out this series with one epic farewell with all the characters we've come to know and love together once again in her final book The Road to Paradise. TRTP is one giant goodie bag of feelings- love, laughter, tears, anger and angsty romance.

Throughout this series we've seen couples come together and this story is no different with Jack and Nikki's story at the forefront. The strength of their relationship is tested and can't only be repaired with the help of Pike's prior characters from this series. It's emotional, raw, but a beautifully written story. Although each of Pike's men have claimed a piece of my heart, I do say she's written her best with Jack.

In the end, Pike was able to make this entire series come together ending on such a high note. Pike effortlessly made this series feel complete. I could not have thought of a better way to say goodbye to these wonderful characters I've fallen in love with!Congrats Leslie on a job well done!

This poor book... I've been wanting to read it for the last 2 weeks. I kept getting started then work or kids or something else would get in the way.
If this is your first Leslie Pike book, you will enjoy it. It is very well written with fun characters. But, I think to get the full impact of this story, I think you need to read the prior two books in the series.
There are 3 story lines following 3 different couple in Road to Paradise. Those relationships were established in books 1 and 2 and I think you really need that back story to fully appreciate the insights and developments here.
While there are lots of romance elements here, this is really more of a relationship book. What happened when some of the new wears off and real life intrudes? How do you handle surprises - both good and bad?
Anyone who enjoys a well written book will enjoy Road to Paradise, but I think it will especially appeal to slightly older readers.

What an absolutely fantastic way to end the series!

Leslie has given us all her men and women together in one book, allowing us to see the continuation of their stories in one big bowl of goodness with a side of laughter, tears, anger, and love. The HOT factor is off the charts and the characters we have come to love just keep giving us more to remember them by.

I love all of Leslie’s men, but maybe, just maybe, Jack is taking a little step ahead in this book.

The writing continues to evolve and the character development is just fantastic, showing us how wonderful these characters have been from the beginning. The dynamic of their friendships, the way they handle what life throws their way, and the way they love each other, all elements that Leslie has woven in such a way that you can’t help but want to be a part of their story. Amazing!

I was given a copy of this book for an honest review. The journey didn't end at happily ever after, it was just the beginning. This books had all the characters I fell in love with in Trouble in Eden and Wild in Paradise. The stand out for me was BB. I would easily have read a book with just her a Paul, they had to be my favorite couple in this book, though I would have liked to see more of Finn and Esme, who were two of the lead couples in Wild in Paradise, being fresh from reading Wild in Paradise, I was most curious about them, but as an epilogue, as a continuation, and ending, it was a lovely emotional roller coaster, and a wonderfully written ending to an amazing steamy, and beautiful series.

Absolutely loved the story arc of this book! The third in this series. It centers on Jack and Nikki, who we met first in The Trouble with Eden, but incorporates all the couples and characters we've grown to love throughout the series! I thought Leslie did a masterful job of weaving all the storylines together here. These characters may be celebrities but she shows that despite the limelight that follows them, these are all just people looking for their happy, their own road to paradise so to speak. Sometimes that road is fraught with drama and angst, sometimes with laughter and tears but always with lots of love and heart! What a beautiful way to wrap this much enjoyed series!!

This book! Wow I loved it.
It made the whole series feel complete.
Don't get me wrong I could always have more of any of these men.
They are ALL in this one!
There are times of laughs, of hotness, of pissed off-ness, there is heart racing times and times of tears.
You get to see what happens behind the scenes.
All the characters from the books before are in here. This book was the cherry on the sundae. Perfect!

This book wraps the story up and at times can get a little confusing. She takes all the characters we met in book one and two and wraps up all their stories. She is a very strong writer so she did it very well and kept in entertaining. She brings back all the main characters added a twist to all of them and gives us closure. All three books were amazingly wrote. I will be reading more books from her.

Movie Stars are people too. Jack and Nicki have to go through some ups and downs. Jack's got a big secret and he's keeping it from Nicki. Paul and BB are also having some issues of their own.

This book was an amazing. I just couldn't put this book down.

Sad to see a great series like this end but what a way to end. Loved to finally read about Jack and Nikki. I just want this series to continue forever. Great characters to read. Glad that characters from the other two books made an appearance as well.

I love friends series like this and I sad to see it end . We finally get to hear Jack's story . We get our favs from book 1 ( The Trouble With Eden ) and book 2 Wild In Paradise . This is a fitting journey for the characters at the end of a series. This is not a standalone . You must at least read book 2 to get caught up . #ParadiseSeries #ittakesgreatlove
