    I FLOVED this series!! I loved Lacey and Grant's story. This was the perfect conclusion to their journey. Book three picks up right where book two ended. Lacey loves Grant, and she believes she did the right thing by running away. She loves him so much, that the thought of standing in front of everyone and lying about what they are, was too much. So running was her only option, at least that's what she is telling herself.

    Once she has regrouped she returns to Delving Media and tries to act like nothing happened. Hah!! What a joke!! She can't escape the rumors, and Grant's attitude towards her is less than amicable. He is hurting much more than he ever imagined he could, and he is not about to make Lacey's life easy after she broke his heart. These two go head to head since the day she got back. But you can tell they are both struggling with their feelings.

    "We're connected, you and I. The thread that binds us may stretch and fray, but it will never break. And whatever happens today, we'll get through it. Together

    While they are still struggling with their feelings and Lacey did, she discovers something that will affect Grant and his company. Even if she doesn't want to be close to him, she feels she needs to tell him what she discovered. They come together to try and fix the "problem". I love their convos and I love their relationship. Lacey's best friend still is one of my favorite characters.

    I loved this series. And I thought this was the perfect conclusion to these character's story. If you haven't read this series, do yourself a favor and 1-Click it!!

My only real complaint is that I wish there had been more - this last book in particular felt rushed in parts. And while I wish Lacey and Grant had had a longer story, it was still enjoyable. I know I'll be reading other books by Lila Monroe.

    He wasn't too happy when he was left at the store. She couldn't marry him because he didn't love her and she didn't want to be used to save his company. Finally she went back to work. He wouldn't talk to her at first, he started to, telling her, messing with her saying you gave it all away. She over heard a conversation about his company and he went to him telling him about a take over of his company. They ended up saving his company. A really cute and sexy little story. Enjoy it!!!

    This is third of a three part series. It's a terrific ending to a very good book. I spent $6.95 for all three. I would have happily paid $3.99 or perhaps 4.99.,but under the circumstances I felt like I was pushed into buying book 2 and book 3. I know it's not fair to say that, because nobody forced to buy them, but the parts needed to be brought together and it fell to me to do that myself. I did it because I wanted to know the end. And if you want to read part 1, get ready to buy the next part.
    I still highly recommend this book and I think anyone who likes happy endings will agree with me.

    I thoroughly enjoyed this final book of the series. I had a gut feeling that Portia was up to no good. Her personality rubbed me the wrong way and now she is gone out of their lives. I am glad that Grant told the story of his life and that it won over the shareholders. I am so happy that he knew that he couldn't live without Lacey and that he loved her and Lacey loved him right back. Thank you Lila for a great series. I couldn't put the book down once I started it last night. I had to read it all at once.

    The conclusion to this story, wow didn’t see this coming the evil god-mother Portia I knew she was evil but what she does is unthinkable. The growth in Grant character is amazing and the Lacey has is of the chart. Definitely a book to read 4 1/2 ⭐️
