    Seven Sons is the first book in the Gypsy Brothers series by Lili St. Germain.

    Juliette Portland wants revenge. No scratch that, she needs revenge and retribution for what was taken from her. At fifteen, Juliette was beaten, left for dead, her innocence stolen from her and forced to continue life without her father.
    She has suffered and relived that night for the past six years. But, no more. Juliette has reinvented herself. She has been reborn.

    With her new body and new identity, Samantha Peyton put her plan into action. Her plan to infiltrate the Gypsy Brothers MC. Her plan to make them all pay and avenge her fathers death. To make Dornan Ross, now the president of the club, pay. One son at a time.

    But there is a wrench thrown at her plan. Someone she did not expect to see. Feeling she did not expect to feel for Jase Ross. Jase the youngest brother.

    I loved this book and I can't wait for the rest of the series to be released. There is a small cliff hanger at the end, but knowing that there are more to come at starting the series makes me overlook that little fact. Six brothers is expected to be released February 2014 and the reaming book to follow within the year.

    Lili introduces you the the characters early on. She expertly places Juliette's flash backs, so you are experiencing her feelings and understand her reasoning for her plan. The scenes and Juliette's (Samantha) interactions with Dornan and his sons had me cringing, gasping, and yelling WTF. The brutality within the club is intense, but for what Dornan and his sons did in the past I expected nothing less. Lili delivers a black twisted suspense filled dark romance. I say dark romance due to the fact that Samantha engages in a sexual relationship with the man that killed her father to gain access to the gang and welcomed into the club house. My only complaint is that the book, 100 pages, is to short. My complaint in no way affects my rating or reflects the way the story was written. I was sucked into the story and wrapped up with the characters. And just when, what you have expected the entire book to happen, happens.... The end. Grrrrr!!!! I want MORE!!!! I am a fan of Lili's work.

    This is a gritty, dark story that pulls you in from the first chapter. I had this book in my Kindle app purchased when it was free on Amazon, for a while but did not read it right away. I was granted the opportunity to post promo items on my blog for the last book in the series “One Love”. All the teasers for each book in the series immediately drew my attention and had me itching to read the series. So far, this first book definitely worth the read. Though some of the subject matter of rape and violence maybe triggers for some people I thought it was really well written. I felt Juliette/Sammi’s pain and anguish her anger and frustration. Samantha is the false identity that Juliette takes on through plastic surgery so that she can infiltrate the MC and take out the president and his sons for ruining her life. Dornan is a mean bastard a sick criminal who will stop at nothing to control everyone around him especially women. Sammi uses his weakens to get into his inner sanctum. Unfortunately, all her plans do not always work out as she had hoped. Having to sleep with the man, she despises makes her skin crawl each time he touches her but unavoidable in the end. Then there is Jase the boy she loved as Juliette and he loved her just as much, is still living within the MC. He does not recognize her physically but you can tell emotionally he feels a connection he has not felt toward anyone since his Juliette “died”. I really enjoyed reading the tender, sweet moments between these two as well as the sexual tension that jolts between them every time they are within each other’s presence. I am excited to see where the author takes this entire story. It flows very well each book is 100 pages or less since all the other books are out you can read the whole series at once which I like no waiting.
    These will be my first Lili St. Germain reads and I cannot wait to read more.

    I saw this on Goodreads as I was browsing through authors and thought it looked so good so got it and read it in one night. Went looking to see when the next one was coming out as I just can't wait to read it. No matter what I am in the middle of on release date, I will be putting it down to read the next chapter in this series. I can't wait to see where Julz will go from here. It's hot and steamy and raw and I just couldn't put it down. Fast paced, well written and keeps you wanting more.

    OH MY GOODNESS! Wow, this series is fantastic and I need more now. Michelle from Novels on the Run recommended this series and I grabbed it quick smart. They are a serial type read, so quick and addictive. The writing style of Lili Saint Germain is amazing and nonstop action to boot.

Der Autorin Lili Saint Germain ist es sehr gut gelungen, die Gefühlslage der taffen 21jährigen Hauptprotagonistin wiederzugeben. Nach und nach wird der Leser mehr in die Vergangenheit von Julz bzw. Sammy eingeführt über sogenannte Flashbacks.

    Sehr spannend und an Dramatik nicht zu übertreffen, jedoch auch gepaart mit tief verborgenen Gefühlen wie Zuneigung, Liebe und Freundschaft.

    Das Buch ruft beim Leser unterschiedliche Facetten an Gefühlen vor: von Entsetzen, Tränen, Wut bis hin zu Hoffnung, Rache u.v.m. Dabei verarbeitet die Autorin Themen wie Mord, Vergewaltigung, Drogen und Intrigen in ihrem Werk.

    Seven Sons ist das erste von insgesamt 7 Teilen rund um die Gypsy Brothers … oder besser gesagt der erste Teil der 7teiligen Rache von Julz/Sammy.

    Zusammenfassend ist zu sagen, dass Seven Sons seit sehr langer Zeit wieder mal ein englisches Buch war, das ich gelesen habe. Emotional hat mich die Autorin komplett eingebunden und durch ihren angenehmen Schreibstil, aber auch durch den interessanten Plot hatte ich dieses Werk im Nu ohne Probleme gelesen.

    I am not usually a fan of novellas, as they usually rush through dialogue without giving a thought to structure or character development. I am happy to say that 'SEVEN SONS' succeeds in all areas! With its highly charged pacing, the story is layered in a way that is complex, shocking, and it leaves you excited for more to come.

    This is a gripping and brutal story of a woman who changes her identity and physical appearance, so that she can carry out her plan of revenge against those who cruelly stole her innocence many years ago.

    I will state the obvious: Avoid reading if you are under 18 or easily offended by dark and taboo subject matters. However, the writing is excellent, concise, and the sexual elements are written with a purpose. This is not your average Chick-lit tale - this is a heavy and emotional read.

    Our sympathies lie strongly with the main character (who changes her birth name, Juliette, to Samantha) and she is a heroine in her own right. She is brave, passionate and refuses to back down from what she knows must be done. We are in her head at all times, seeing things from her point of view and appropriately switching between past and present as she recalls the devastating memories of her gang rape by the shameful Ross family.

    The novella excels at covering a wide spectrum of plot points for characters who will likely be focused on much more in the further instalments of this series. Two standout characters are Elliot and Jason, who are in many ways the two love interests of Samantha and I am strongly anticipating how her relationships with them will develop in book two. (I am personally hoping that there is much more to come in her budding romance with Jason, as they seemed to connect - or re-connect, if you count their past together - very well.)

    As for Dornan Ross - well, the less said about him, the better. Just know that he's the main antagonist of the story and is a complex character who, strangely enough, tries to build a connection with the woman whose life was torn apart by him.

    Amazon states that the sequel to this novel, entitled 'SIX BROTHERS', will be available from 16th February (next week). I honestly can't wait.

    I have happily rated 'SEVEN SONS' five stars. It is a fantastic and thought-provoking introduction to the dangerous life of Juliette/Samantha. I hope the next instalments can live up to (and even surpass) its brilliance. :)
