    After Selfish ended with that torturous ending we’ve had no choice but to bide our time in the hopes that we haven’t heard the last of Ashlyn and Ryder.
    We were teased plenty through Becca and Jaycent’s story so much so that we knew Ashlyn was still giving Ryder the run around but we needed more and we finally got it.!
    You can’t help thinking back to where it all started... at a bar on the beach in Panama. It seemed so long ago, so much has happened but it wasn’t really that long ago at all.
    Characters from both Ashlyn and Ryder’s past showing up certainly doesn’t help but somehow they get through all of that, it actually ends up bringing them together, it’s touch and go at times especially with all the drama and there is plenty of that.
    I have to say there was a moment towards the end when I found myself holding my breath so much so I had to go back over a few lines... we we’re well and truly thrown... wasn’t sure what to think for a while.
    Bradley and Vicki might still be out there but nothing will come between Ashlyn, Ryder, Becca and Jaycent now, not even the evil mother she well and truly out of the picture.
    Beautiful epilogue by the way.!
    The (Selfish) series has been fabulous it’s been totally addictive but that’s only to be expected from Shantel Tessier. I loved the cross reference with Seven Deadly Sins it makes you think back to that fabulous series too.!

    This is the concluding part of Ashyln and Ryders story and I had been waiting patiently for this.

    Shantel very quickly drags the reader back into the story and right back to the moment in Selfish where she leaves her characters in stalemate.

    I loved how both characters torment was portrayed and how Ashlyn made Ryder work hard for his redemption.

    I found myself routing for the couple and hoping that the could weather the storm and get back to how they’d been before.

    Shantel amps up the read with a small back story and some twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and I really enjoyed this book.

    I would reccomend this book to fans of this author and the romance genre, I would suggest reading the books back to back to get the full experience.

    The continuing story of Ryder & Ashlyn, the third and final instalment picks ups where Selfish finished (Myself book 2 is Becca and Jaycent’s story).

    What can I say but WOW, Shantel has done it again! I absolutely LOVED this book!

    I will never give spoilers out in a review, as I think the reader should make their own mind up without knowing what is going to happen, I will say though that there are a few twists and times where Shantel could have taken the story in a completely different direction and a couple of unexpected turns, but I can’t say it enough - LOVE, LOVE, LOVED it and you would be a fool not to buy it - a definite 5 star read

    I read book one in the series and enjoyed it, so I bought book three and I simply don’t believe it’s written by the same author it’s absolutely awful I lost count of how many times the word soft and softly was used It was madness and the story got more and more ridiculous and in the end I couldn’t be bothered to finish the book. Such a shame.

    'Selfless' is the third book and conclusion to Ryder and Ashlyn's story. The drama, the angst, the deception and of course the beautiful love gave you all the feels!

    What an ending... It was filled with passion, suspense and steamy romance. It's my kind of favourite book genre: romance with erotica and a twist of suspense. 'Selfless' is book three in the Selfish trilogy and picks up right where we left off with Ryder and Ashlyn.

    Ryder is very possessive of Ashlyn who is an interesting character. Stronger than she appears and she definitely stood up to Ryder and put him in his place. It was nice to see the two of them finally work through their problems and coming out a stronger couple.

    These two are meant too be and I have been patiently waiting for the ending to their epic love story. However this love story isn't hearts and flowers... there are some twists to this story I didn't see coming that revved up the octane levels...
