Scott is on fire with her writing and storytelling ability! Absolutely fantastic!! The story between Alexander and Sara Jane is dark and raw and brutal but it's all beautiful and real and truthful.

    Finally the conclusion to the nail biting love story of Alexander Kingwood and Sara Jane Grayson. I say nail biting because you will constantly be on the edge of your seat the entire time throughout this book.

    The story picks up where book one ends, so reading Savage is definitely a must! Ramifications of what has happened is life changing for them both since the death of someone close to the couple and the injuries Sara Jane sustained only seemed to bring this couple closer. Still there are secrets and questions that need to be answered and they will be, have no fear of that. Although don't be surprised that the answers you seek will come with a few twists and turns. Love never seems to be that straightforward.

    The POV from Alexander was well written and sometimes downright intriguing. Imagine yourself inside the mind of a man who seeks vengeance and retribution for the crimes committed against his nearest and dearest! This will take you on a mind-bending journey that you think will never end. They say revenge is sweet. But is it? He is hard, he is soft, he is dark, he is light. Alexander is what you would call a complex man who will only answer to the one woman who holds his heart and soul.

    The POV from Sara Jane is soft and light which brings you the perfect balance to this story. The not so straight forward love story between these two characters is one of the many things that keeps you interested. Will they get there happy ever after, or won't they? Where there is pleasure, there is pain and no matter what, this couple was just meant to be.

    Yet again S.L. Scott has written a masterpiece that I, for one, will not be forgetting in a hurry. The in-depth exploration of these two characters will hook you up and reel you in with no chance of escape. And you won't want to! I love her style of writing and the care and attention to detail she takes. Apart from an outstanding story, she has portrayed the characters so well from mind, to pen, to paper. I absolutely loved it!

    Bravo! Congratulations! Totally deserving of the five stars I have awarded and looking forward to reading more of this author's work.

    HOW WILL I EVEN MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE. I think I just died a thousand deaths.

    I cannot even begin to tell you how utterly and completely obliterated my heart and soul were after the ending of Savage!!! I was DYING. DYING. DYING to find out what was going to happen with Sara Jane and Alexander's love journey! SERIOUSLY. That ending though....

    SL Scott has created and delivered another achingly-beautiful, heart-stopping, star-crossed romance. Once I started Savior, I could. Not. Stop. Her brilliant story telling captivated me from start to finish. I am IN LOVE with these characters. IN. LOVE. I was submersed within the pages and never wanted to resurface. I felt like I was living through Alexander’s pain. His struggles. His fears. His sacrifices. God. I felt them. That’s one of the many reasons I love Scott’s writing so much. SHE MAKES YOU FEEL EVERY WORD. And I FELT. IT. ALL.

    Savior is one of my absolute favourite stories of the year. It’s unforgettable. It’s completely mind blowing with it’s twists and turns and WTF moments. I was literally on the edge of my seat through most of this book. I never wanted this story to end. I didn’t want to say good bye to these characters. I love them so much. SO. MUCH. I don’t think I will ever be over this love story and the universe I became a part of.

    The Kingwood Duet is one of the most soul searing love stories I have ever read. SL Scott killed me in the best possible way with her beautiful, emotional, heart stopping words. Savior was brilliant magic and simply unforgettable. This duet is one of my all time favourite stories from Scott. I'll never, ever forget it. Alexander and Firefly own my heart and soul. Like I said, MAGIC.

    Savior was everything I hoped and expected! S.L. Scott has written an amazing story filled with surprising twists and turns. She is a master of beautiful words and forms poetry on every page. Each character plays a role in the endgame of this one - suspect everyone! The events in The Kingwood Duet, past and present, collide to provide a full-blown explosion of the mind!

    S.L. has delivered a shocking conclusion to Savage, one that had me flying through the pages, reading through my fingers with my heart beating rapidly. No stone was left unturned, no thread left unraveled, and no questions left unanswered. You may not get the answers you had hoped for, your gut may be wrenching a bit, you may shed a few tears but when the Savior rises, all is right with the world.

    I thoroughly enjoyed this conclusion and the duet as a whole. Savage left me floating in space with the best cliffhanger EVER! Savior was angsty and filled with intrigue, mystery, and suspense. S.L. has the reader thinking and wondering what's happening and suspecting everyone in every chapter. This duet really MUST be read in order--Savior is not a standalone. Savior is a beautiful conclusion to the Romeo and Juliet inspired fairy tale of The King and his Queen, his little Firefly. The pain they endure, the strength they find to survive because of the other is everything a true romance should be.

    If you are left wanting more after this amazing duet is finished, no reason to fret. S.L. has created amazing side characters that have a life of their own and a story to tell. I look forward to reading more from this author as she continues to write about all of them.

    Where do I start?
    SL Scott has given us the most captivating conclusions to The Kingwood Duet with Savior. I was left in a total tailspin at the end of Savage. The 'OMG it can't end like this' ending had me ready to pull my hair out and throw my kindle. I have been waiting for the conclusion for what feels like a lifetime and OMG, what a way to finish The Kingsood Duet.

    Savior picks up where Savage ended and you will instantly be transported back to that gut wrenching moment where Sara Jane's life hangs in balance and your screaming at her to hang on. All the questions you had after Savage will be answered. Twists and turns you didn't see coming will have you reeling - greed, lies and deceit at the forefront. The unconditional love and loyalty, hopes and dreams of the bad boy and his firefly that we fell in love with will be tried and tested.

    This book is intense, heartbreaking, all consuming and totally amazing. The emotional roller coaster ride will leave you gasping for breath and wanting more at the same time. I have no doubt that anyone one who reads this stunning duet will have a massive book hangover by the end of it. This is one series you seriously need to read.

    My praise for SL Scott is endless.

    Savior is the amazing conclusion of The Kingwood Duet by S.L. Scott. At the end of Savage everything seems lost. Who will survive and how will it all end? SL Scott gave us a journey that will leave you at the very edge of your seat from start to finish.

    Alexander and Sara Jane share a love that transcends reason. Together they are stronger then when they are apart. But so much more is happening around them that they are not aware off. Who can they really trust and how will it all end?

    Sara Jane loves Alexander more then she understands. All she knows is home is where he is. But Sara Jane has insecurities that plague her. She does not see the strength in herself others see. She is beautiful, strong, loyal and so caring and loving. I loved seeing her growth and confidence grow throughout this story.

    Alexander Kingwood the IV is searching for answers. But are the answers worth the cost? His mother’s death has eaten at him for years. He needs to know what happened, but now what matters most to him is at risk and he is not sure he can protect it. I loved Alexander. He was flawed and lost at times, a damaged man Sara Jane called him, but he was so strong and determined. His love for Sara Jane knows no bounds.

    Can Alexander protect those he loves in his quests for answers? Will Sara Jane live or die? Their journey is full of obstacles that continue to stack up against them. Is their love, as strong as it is, enough to survive what is yet to come? This story is full of twists and turns you will not know which way is up until the very end.

    I have read most of what S.L. Scott has written and she quickly became a must-read author for me. I love her writing, her stories and her characters. She has a way of consuming her readers with each book she writes. The Kingwood duet is so different than anything she has ever written before and it is beautiful, suspenseful and full of all the feels.

    I cannot express how much I have enjoyed reading The Kingwood Duet by S.L. Scott. The journey is gut-wrenching, but it is also full of hope. The love shared between Alexander and Sara Jane is strong and powerful. This is a beautiful story that will draw you in. I loved the story and the characters and cannot wait to read what’s next!

    Savior, the pulse pounding follow up to Savage, the first book in the Kingwood duet, is as as much a tumultuous roller coaster of emotion as it is a suspenseful journey of violence, deceit and treachery. With twists and turns on every page, jaw dropping revelations at every turn, and moments so beautifully romantic they took my breath away, Savior was a perfectly chaotic sequel and I enjoyed every second. 

    This storyline is such a change of pace for SL Scott and I so enjoyed that. I never knew what to expect, the uncertainty and the long buried secrets kept coming until the very last page. This book was infuriating and sexy and twisted and I devoured it in one sitting. I love a story where a happy ending seems impossible, where the darkness and tragedy seem to outweigh the good. Stories like this make you feel so much, keeping the reader at the edge of their seat from beginning to end and Savior certainly did that for me. 

    The love story between Alexander Kingwood and Sara Jane Grayson is an exciting, heart stopping, suspenseful ride the entire way through. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this duet is a step outside the box for me. I let go of everything and just allowed this storyline to take me away. And it did. Once again, I was lost in the secrets and the lies and the decadent pleasure pain of not knowing how this would end. I embraced the chaos, this strange marriage between a Victorian romance novel and a modern day angsty contemporary love story. Somehow SL Scott just makes it all work. This satisfying sequel was the perfect way to round out this storyline and now I can't wait for Jason's story!

    After reading Savage I was anxiously awaiting the conclusion of this duet. Let me tell you SL Scott did not disappoint. She delivered a perfect ending to this amazing duet. It took me a few days after finishing to attempt to write this review because I could not articulate what I was feeling. I have read and loved other books by SL, but I feel like with this book and Savior, she stepped up her game. She virtually knocked this one out of the park.

    I am so love with these characters. I was completely invested already. Alexander and Sara Jane captivated my heart and mind. He is dark, she is light and together they are all of the colors of the rainbow. The relationship they have is raw and real and so magnificently beautiful. There is nothing these two would not do for each other. You hear the word soul mate thrown around and with these two I feel they shared the same heart and soul. The quote from this book that stands out and stay in my mind is “Only true love can reach the depths of a tortured soul.” It is poignant and fitting in a few ways.

    With this book you will get all the feels. You get some angst and some mystery I was not expecting but I loved every word of it. You get happiness, love, loss, struggle, pain, and so much more. You will devour this book and the conclusion will leave you at peace or at least it did for me. I would recommend this series to anyone and happily give this five stars. Kudos to SL for penning a brilliant duet and for concluding this story in extraordinary fashion.
