    Kick & Evie, what an awesome team for the leads. Their chemistry is off the charts, their combined stories are palpably heartbreaking but together love prevails, and as their story slowly unravels in this read, it delves deeper into the MC club and the deep ties the brothers have. Blood & Violence is felt out like karma. What an amazing assortment of characters Nina introduced to us readers, I’d love to continue on reading this series.     Having binge read the author's Storm MC series and LOVED it, I felt I HAD to continue on with this spin-off Chapter of the MC, even though it's a bit darker then I normally like, I still really enjoyed it and feel like it has pulled me in enough to want to continue on with the series.
    Kick and Evie are a 2nd (or 3rd) chance love story so we get a little of their background together in snippets. I actually like this as I feel it gave me a look at Kick when he wasn't as hardened. A fair amount of violence takes place which Kick seems to be the go-to man for it!
    Kick and Evie together are fantastic and you can certainly see the chemistry between them.
    At certain times it felt a little rushed in places or maybe lacking a little detail but otherwise was a really enjoyable read, you do get a sense of "brotherhood" and family among the MC members. Really looking forward to picking the next one up.

    Okay, so, Kick Hanson is all bad boy! He does plenty of bad things to plenty of bad people, but, he has this secret little nice streak. He's involved in the rescues that go on, helping domestic abuse victims, that we have seen in the original Storm MC Series. Like all MC men he is big, bad, tattooed, muscles with a mean streak that you don't want to cross. Yet for some reason, around our little Evie, he goes all soft and mushy!
    Evie is the sweet little girl next door, she fell in love with the boy who rescued her. The boy who looked after her as an adolescent, stood up for her and protected her against everything, even herself. When he needed to protect her from himself he did the hardest thing and let her go. But would this be a decision he would come to regret?
    This is a fabulous story of true love, fast paced and full of action but with chemistry. There are some amazingly hot scenes, as one would expect with any foul mouthed dirty biker man, gently tempered by a softer side. There is a great rhythm to the story and I am really looking forward to reading more about these HOT biker men

    Relent is not just an fantastic MC read, but it’s also a terrific second chance romance. When Evie and Kick are together, the two of them just light up the pages. Their connection has stayed strong throughout the years and is completely undeniable. You can’t help but find yourself rooting for these two characters. Kick totally knocked my socks off. Not only is he this hot biker, but he is also loyal. Dominate. Possessive. He is 100% alpha male. And Evie is exactly the right fit for him. And Evie…I loved how strong her characters was.
